Seungri aka V.I. is most known for being the maknae in BIGBANG. While everyone anticipates BIGBANG's return with their first Korean album in two years, Seungri shared his first solo album; demonstrating that he doesn't need his fellow band mates to sell records or even make good music. His promotional time was short, but it was a good lead into BIGBANG's comeback, so Seungri isn't leaving the top of the charts just yet.The mini album, although the music is great, it's not 'new' or 'original'. Since it is made up of only 7 songs, the fact there's not much variety is a bit of a disappointment. Great tracks, really. But the two songs that actually got a video created sound so alike!
My two favorite tracks are 'White Love' and 'I Know ft. IU'. Both sound so lovely and both captured my hopeless romantic heart. 'I Know' is slower and I think it's the song that brings in the fresh air. 'White Love' sounds more unique from what I usually listen to, thus they really stood out and showed me that BIGBANG truly needs their maknae.
